A Verizon-exclusive webinar presented by Spirent in partnership with Analysys Mason

Register today and have a cup of coffee on us.

One of 5G’s most commonly-cited enablers is automation. As Verizon rapidly builds the nation’s first 5G network, new architectures like the Intelligent Edge Network are poised to showcase the power of automated processes. The world is watching as this bold approach introduces both new challenges and great opportunities to significantly lower network operations costs. Of course, these are the first steps of a long journey and questions about the best path forward remain. Including how to maximize the value of the volumes of data these networks will produce to drive transformational automation strategies.

This webinar will feature Analysys Mason and Spirent automation experts for a private discussion around trends, challenges and opportunities, with a real world view of key milestones reached to date and what comes next. Featured speakers include:

Chris O’Loughlin, Spirent’s VP and Client Partner Executive for Verizon
Chris has spent considerable time with Verizon executives to understand the company’s expanding vision as it accelerates deployment of a next-gen architecture. He will share key insights from these discussions and how they align with Spirent’s vision of highly-automated networks.

Anil Rao, Analysys Mason Lead Analyst for Automated Assurance and Service Design & Orchestration
Anil will discuss how automated assurance system architectures must transform to support more extensive network automation in today’s networks and new 5G and SD-WAN deployments.

Ross Cassan, Spirent’s Senior Director of Product Marketing
Ross will present real-world case studies featuring automation deployments in physical and early-stage virtual networks. This will include an example deployment in Verizon’s enterprise mobile network and details about how a large US operator used automation for a 10x increase in small cell deployments.

Key topics to be covered during the webinar include:

  • Hype vs. reality for network virtualization and automation
  • The transformation of service assurance to enable network automation
  • Pragmatic approaches to enable automation of today’s networks
  • Real-world automation case studies for service activation, quality monitoring, fault isolation and change management
  • Automating 5G and SD-WAN networks and services spanning multiple providers

Who Should Attend:
Executives, managers, and architects across operations, engineering, planning and technology groups

Time:
