Wi-Fi Tutorial Lesson 12: Target Wake Time in Wi-Fi 6

In this webinar, we discuss Target Wake Time (TWT) and how it enables devices to determine when and how frequently they wake up to send or receive data, allowing devices to increase sleep time to reduce power consumption. TWT can also be used to reduce overlap and contention between stations, resulting in optimized spectral efficiency. This video demonstrates how the OCTOBOX testbed can be used to test various TWT parameters and shows the impact on traffic scheduling and throughput.

TWT, among other things, is a power-saving mechanism for Wi-Fi.
