What's Coming with Wi-Fi 7

Wi-Fi 7 brings new functionality to the table, which also adds new testing challenges. New features include lower latency and faster throughput rate with an increased physical layer of 4k QAM and a wider bandwidth of 320MHz. Due to the special relationships that Spirent has with some chipset vendors, we have already begun working with early versions of Wi-Fi 7 in our lab, testing device performance in a controlled, isolated environment, emulating real world scenarios, and achieving repeatable throughput. In this latest interview Fanny Mlinarsky discusses how Spirent is already testing Wi-Fi 7 in the lab for device performance in a controlled environment using real world scenarios.
