SPIRENT TestCenter Live
Spirent TestCenter Live enables operators to efficiently address service activation,
performance monitoring and fault isolation milestones. Flexible, highly scalable, software
and hardware platform provides service visibility and SLA management over 1 and 10 GbE
access. The platform—supporting both performance monitoring and test and diagnostic
disciplines—is deployed by providers to optimize service turn up, reduce dispatches,
proactively manage SLAs and meet subscriber reporting obligations.
Service Activation
The traditional model for service provisioning required
coordinated resources dispatched to multiple locations,
Spirent TestCenter Live provides a centralized solution for
provisioning verification, with automated test profiles and
storage of service performance benchmarks for later review.
Performance Monitoring
Service Level Agreements for Ethernet services require
historical reporting on key network and service performance
metrics. Spirent TestCenter Live provides a highly scalable
and customizable 24 x7 performance monitoring solution
with proactive alarms and metrics of network performance
to meet customer reporting requirements.
Spirent TestCenter Live ensures residential,
business, backhaul and wholesale services from
any Ethernet access point. Regardless of the “over”
technology or network, Spirent TestCenter Live

deployed in support of Ethernet business services,
mobile backhaul, global transport networks, and

TEST AND DIAGNOSTIC OS
An easy-to-use graphical user interface for on-demand
testing of live Ethernet applications and networks. It provides
active testing for service provisioning and troubleshooting
and passive monitoring in real-time for service usage and
application performance.
PERFORMANCE MONITORING OS
Active and passive performance monitoring for Ethernet
networks and service quality. Designed for multi-user, service
and network operations, users can manage SLA compliance,
Network efficiency, capture performance history and expedite the
trouble resolution process.
ETHERNET SERVICES PROBES
Spirent TestCenter Live 7500 series modular probes provide a
customer-centric diagnostic view of your IP and Ethernet-based
services. These probes measure key performance indicators
for data, IPTV and VoIP services to provide immediate and
actionable status about your network through a combination of
active and passive tests.
Available in a two slot and six slot 1U chassis they offer flexible
modular 1 and 10 GbE configurations.
