Spirent’s 8100 system is the optimal solution for today’s UMTS/LTE mobile device and chipset testing. It supports a wide range of Application, Location and Radio Access test areas, and its flexible option-based design allows you to add the capability you need when you need it.

Spirent’s 8100 system addresses multiple phases of the mobile device lifecycle, not just minimum certification requirements. 8100 solutions are available in a range of scalable, cost-effective options, from bench-top to fully-integrated platforms.

The turnkey 8100 provides full, ready-to-run automation for design verification and operator acceptance testing, and includes Spirent’s world-class real-world network and radio condition emulation. For R&D engineers who require even more flexibility, the Spirent Development Library provides an open environment for rapid customized test development.

No matter what the configuration or usage case, the 8100’s powerful reporting and root-cause analysis tools always ensure quick, easy interpretation of test results and complete characterization of device performance.

The 8100 features unique capabilities for simultaneous emulation of multi-technology (LTE, CDMA/EV-DO, UMTS), multi-cell networks, including advanced Enhanced Packet Core (EPC) emulation. This enables the broadest possible test coverage of LTE multi-mode device performance, including RF/MIMO, multi-mode system determination, data throughput, inter-RAT and more.

For current owners of Spirent C2K-ATS and 8100 systems (for CDMA/EV-DO and UMTS testing, respectively) 8100 LTE solutions are available in a cost-effective upgrade path.
