Spirent TestCenter Live 4000 series probes are specifically designed to measure Quality of Experience (QoE) with Layer 4-7 visibility. These probes can be deployed in two varieties.

• The fixed network probes, 4100, 4200 and 4300 end-point probes are hardware-based and reside in the network at strategic locations
• The 4050 probes are client-based applets and reside on consumer devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops

Both categories of probes provide a unique customer POV into application performance and network Quality of Service (QoS). Spirent combines the 4000 and 7500 series probes to generate a powerful, end-to-end view of the network to assess application and network performance with the ability to analyze the data to isolate service correlated problems.
