Part of the HyperMetrics™ neXt family of modules, Spirent TestCenter HyperMetrics mX 40/100G Ethernet test module with Cloud Core processing enables maximum performance and scale without disabling any test ports.

    HyperMetrics neXt

With four 40G ports and two 100G ports per module, the HyperMetrics mX 40/100G delivers the highest density High-Speed Ethernet test solution per rack unit. HyperMetrics mX 40/100G ensures delivery of the mobile multiplay experience by combining high performance stateful traffic, high-scale routing, access and mobile control plane on a single module.

Modules support both 100G and 40G operation

    • 1-port 100G CFP / 2-port 40G QSFP+ module
    • 2-port 100G CFP / 4-port 40G QSFP+ module

CFP, CXP, and QSFP+ in a single module

    • 100G CXP support with ACC-6068A adapter (supports copper connection)
    • 40G QSFP+ support with ACC-6069A adapter

    Avalanche Layer 4-7 Application Support

Spirent extends the Avalanche testing capabilities to 40/100G interfaces to bring hyper realistic stateful traffic and security testing to the high-speed Ethernet world. As the demand for network capacities increase exponentially the NEMs and SPs are rapidly adopting HSE to meet this increased demand. The testing needs don't stop at Layer 2-3 for this but also require Layer 4-7 testing.

Test access, routing, mobile backhaul, mobility, cloud infrastructure and application performance with a single module

    Cloud Core

    What is Cloud Core?

Cloud Core delivers a major leap forward in performance and scalability, and enhances Spirent TestCenter features with elastic scaling of protocols.

Spirent TestCenter Cloud Core™ is based on patent-pending technologies all designed to add native elastic computing to the Spirent TestCenter Layer 2-7 performance software platform. With Cloud Core, users optimize testing tasks with parallel processing including pooling resources across any number of test ports. Tests beds built on the Cloud Core architecture provide an exceptional combination of scalable performance and realism, and are ideal for testing the most complex converged IP systems, such as the cloud data centers and 4G/LTE mobile networks.

    What is the Spirent difference?
