The SR5500 Wireless Channel Emulator is the most complete and efficient solution available for accurately testing SISO and 2x2 MIMO wireless receivers. The system can be configured to manage intricate MIMO-OTA testing (via simplified graphical controls) and to perform Virtual Drive Testing (VDT) to reduce the cost and time burdens associated with drive testing.

The SR5500 helps isolate performance issues early in the development and design verification cycle, accelerating time to market and minimizing post-deployment issues.

What to Test

  • SISO and 2x2 MIMO receivers
  • Mobile Devices
  • Base stations

Spirent Solutions

  • Spirent’s MIMO-OTA Environment Builder lets you manage intricate MIMO-OTA testing via simplified graphical controls; some of the world’s leading authorities in MIMO-OTA testing have already done the hard work for you.
  • Spirent’s VDT – Conversion Tool software converts raw data from a cellular scanner for use with the SR5500. Proprietary Spirent technology then creates an RF channel that is actually more realistic than the raw scanned data.

    Benefits

Spirent’s SR5500 offers users a number of benefits which are unique in the marketplace. Together these benefits position the SR5500 as the most flexible, accurate and efficient piece of wireless receiver test equipment available: Benefits include:
