Validating Next-Generation Mobile Networks

View Spirent's Complementary On-Demand Webinar

Find out if Carrier Ethernet Global Interconnect (CEGI) specifications are ready for deployment.

The CEGI specifications enable the deployment of profitable data driven mobile services and create new opportunities for wholesale.

But is the standard ready for your network-to-network interconnect strategy?

Spirent has been working with ancotel and EANTC, along with eight service providers to put the promises of CEGI to the test.

In this webinar, Carsten Rossenhoevel of EANTC addresses

  1. CEGI test methodology
  2. Interoperability of Ethernet Network-to-Network Interfaces
  3. End-to-end management of Carrier Ethernet services across provider networks
  4. Service level management support through Class of Service (CoS) mapping

More about the Carrier Ethernet Global Interconnect Demo

The Carrier Ethernet Global Interconnect Demo showcases how autonomous Carrier Ethernet networks can use the MEF’s External Network-Network Interfaces (ENNI) specification to streamline the global delivery of Ethernet Services with end-to-end Class of Service management and protection.

EANTC, in partnership with European telehouse ancotel are executing a test program for service providers to validate and showcase end-to-end Carrier Ethernet services across multiple carriers using ENNI as specified by the MEF.
