Spirent Enables Leading Coverage for Critical Test Area
Sunnyvale, Calif. - (November 13, 2013) — Spirent Communications, a leading provider of testing solutions for wireless networks, devices and services, announced today that Intertek’s wireless device testing business has selected Spirent’s 8100 Mobile Device Test System for VoLTE/IMS testing. As an independent test lab, Intertek works to ensure mobile devices comply with industry standards and operator certification requirements.
The VoLTE/IMS service-related tests are part of a critical test area for mobile operators as they prepare for commercial launch of these value-added services over its LTE network. The 8100 solution enables Intertek to leverage Spirent’s leading test coverage, including areas of exclusive coverage, and expertise in this critical test area to provide best-in-class testing services.
