Test & Measurement World Magazine’s Best in Test Award
Spirent TestCenter Mobile Backhaul received the Test & Measurement World magazine’s 2011 Best in Test award for the Network and Fiber Optics Tester category. The award, presented annually by the magazine’s editors and based on votes from the magazine’s readers, recognizes the company’s innovation and product excellence in mobile backhaul network testing.
The Best in Test award honors important and innovative new products and services in the electronics test and measurement industry. This recognition by users of test equipment underscores Spirent’s commitment to developing and delivering solutions that address the critical and changing needs of the communications testing community.
According to Rick Nelson, editorial director of Test & Measurement World Magazine, “The 2011 Best in Test finalists included 72 impressive products in 16 competitive categories.”
“In the ‘Network and fiber-optic testers’ category, readers and editors voted Spirent Communications’ TestCenter for Mobile Backhaul as the Best in Test winner in part due to its ability to improve test cycle times and reduce the overall cost of test while ensuring optimal QoE” Nelson added.
Spirent eAirAccess Wireless Access Emulator was also nominated for the magazines, Best in Test award.
For the first time, the Spirent TestCenter platform was nominated for Test & Measurement World's Test of Time Award. The annual Test of Time award honors a test, measurement, or inspection product that has provided state-of-the-art service for at least five years after its introduction.
