Gayle Han*, Product Development Engineer, Eatontown, NJ
Gayle joined Spirent Communications after graduating from RPI with her MSEE. She was Magna Cum Laude with a GPA of 4.0. Gayle was interested in starting a career in wireless communication and was immediately attracted to Spirent. Gayle is part of Spirent’s WCDMA development team. Her role includes design, implementation, and testing of the WCDMA physical layer functionality for the SR3420 Network Emulator. Gayle describes her experience at Spirent, “I am always learning and being challenged. Spirent offers its development team the chance to know and own every aspect of a product.”
The supportive team environment fostered at Spirent allows new team members to achieve their fullest potential. Gayles says, “As technologies advance, new requirement are always coming along. My colleagues are very knowledgeable and help me to grasp new information quickly and apply them to the product design.” Gayle has experienced this collaboration first hand as her role evolved from WCDMA Release 99 to HSDPA Release 4.
In her free time, Gayle is a travel enthusiast. Since coming to theUS three years ago, she has visited 25 of the 50 states. She enjoys seeing new places and meeting new people. Both in her personal and professional lives Gayle enjoys and prospers from personal connections.
